The right season to grow chili

Green chillies can be grown in any season of the year, but its best time is considered to be February to April and then July to August. In these months, seeds sprout quickly and plants grow well. If you have a sunny place then you can grow it anytime.

Where and how to apply chili?

Green chillies can be easily applied to the pot, balcony or roof garden. For this, you take 10 to 12 inches of deep pot or container. The soil should be such that it does not stop the water and in which the fertilizer is added. The best mixture is -two parts soil, one part dung manure and one part sand. This will also provide nutrition to the plant and water will also come out correctly.

Method of preparing seeds

You will easily get green chili seeds from the market. If you want, you can also use seeds from dry chillies used in the house. Soak them in water for 12 hours before applying seeds. By doing this, seeds sprout quickly and plants become strong.

Method of sowing seeds

Put the prepared soil in the pot or bed and flatten it lightly. Now put the seeds in about half an inch depth and put the soil in a thin layer from the top. After this, sprinkle light water. Keep in mind that in the beginning give water in small quantities so that the seeds do not rot. It takes about 7 to 10 days to sprout the seeds. During this time, keep the pot in a place where there is light sunlight.

How to take care of the plant?

When the plants turn 3 to 4 inches long, keep them in a little sun in a little sun. Keep giving regular water to the plant, but never allow water to accumulate in the pot. If the water is excessive then the roots can be spoiled. Once every 15 days, keep adding cow dung manure or manure made from home kitchen waste. This will keep the plant green and give more fruit.

Pest and disease prevention

Green chili plants sometimes have small insects. To prevent these, you can use home -made spray instead of using market medicine. Plants are safe by mixing neem oil mixed with water.

When is the first crop available?

The green chili plant starts giving fruits in about 45 to 60 days. Initially small green chilies come out and gradually it comes in large size. Keep breaking chili regularly from the plant, this will give fruit for a long time.
