Scientists there have prepared a new MRNA-based cancer vaccine “Enteromix”, which has shown 100 percent effective results in early pre-clinical trials. The report states that this vaccine has given significant results in shortening the tumor and slowing their growth. The most important thing is that it is also considered safe for repeated use. Squortsova further stated that this vaccine will be prepared differently for every patient and it will be customized on the basis of their RNA profile. The first variant of this vaccine will be used to treat colorectal cancer. In addition, the second variant is being developed for glioblastoma (brain cancer) and certain types of melanoma (skin cancer).

The event was organized by the Roskongres agency under the Russian President’s office, showing the progress in Russia’s medical research and biotechnology.
