The protests of the youth started on social media ban in India’s neighboring country Nepal changed completely in 24 hours. On Tuesday (September 9, 2025) on the second day, this protest was seen to be violent. Weapons armed protesters were seen entering Nepal’s Parliament. Unknown armed people are committing violence against the government under the guise of protest, while KP Sharma Oli resigned from the post of PM on Tuesday afternoon.
Experts believe that this anarchy is being provoked by a few selfish groups and leaders in the neighboring country Nepal, because they are trying to change the power by taking advantage of this atmosphere. Industrial institutions, government offices and even police stations were attacked under the guise of protest.
‘Looting by entering malls and banks’
The protesters entered the malls and banks and looted them. In this protest started under the leadership of Gen-Z, arson was set up to Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament, Supreme Court and Prime Minister’s Office, no one was spared. The houses of many ministers were also targeted. He was even killed on the streets.
Nepali army engaged in controlling the situation
Seeing the situation deteriorating in Nepal, the army has been entrusted with the responsibility. However, a day earlier Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had requested the army for help, but the army refused to intervene. After this, Oli had to resign and went to a safe place somewhere by helicopter.
Experts say that this model of change of power can be like Bangladesh, where the change of power is done on the pretext of social dissatisfaction. The army has now taken Nepal in its hand and efforts are on to control the situation, but the atmosphere still remains tense.
