The army is engaged in handling the situation in Nepal. Important information has also been shared along with Warning on behalf of the Public Relations and Information Directorate of the Military base at the capital Kathmandu. The curfew will remain in force till 6 am tomorrow. The army has said that the common countrymen are informed that further information will be given on the basis of analysis of the situation.
It has been said on behalf of the Nepali army that the army expresses gratitude to all the people of the country for cooperation in maintaining the responsibility of maintaining peace and security in the country. Expressing deep grief over the loss of property during the movement, everyone is requested to cooperate in efforts to control criminal activities.
Permission only emergency vehicles during curfew
The statement said that in the name of the movement, various chaotic persons and groups are still infiltrating and damaging private and public property. These arson, looting, targeting people are attempting violent attacks, rape. Strict action will be taken against such people. Emergency vehicles (ambulances, corpse vehicles, firefighters, paramedics and security vehicles) will be allowed to operate during prohibition and curfew. All concerned parties are requested to coordinate with nearby security personnel for necessary facilities.
Strict action will be taken on miscreants
It has been said by the Nepal Army that coordination is being established between the concerned parties to resolve the situation and the problem after the protest and the attack on any kind of demonstrations, sabotage, looting, arson, individuals and property will be considered a punishable offense by security personnel. The statement further stated that the Nepali army is confident that it will continue to discharge its obligation to maintain national unity and social harmony. It is a humble request that all Nepalis should cooperate with the security personnel for the safety and humanitarian aid.
