While the monthly salary of a minister is Rs 72,730, while the Minister of State gets a little less i.e. Rs 69,030. The post of Assistant Minister is also considered important in the government. They get Rs 67,530 every month.

Parliament and opposition

The Vice President of Parliament or the Vice President of the National Assembly also gets equal to the minister i.e. Rs 72,730. The salary of the leader of the main opposition party is also exactly the same. At the same time, the salary of MPs is Rs 66,240 every month.

How much is the Chief Justice salary?

The provincial head (governor) of a state earns Rs 76,240 every month. The salary of the Deputy Chairman of the National Planning Commission is Rs 69,030 and a member of the Planning Commission gets Rs 67,530. The Chief Justice comes among the highest salary in Nepal. His monthly salary is Rs 88,950. At the same time, Justice (Judge) gets Rs 73,950.

The salary of the Attorney General (Advocate General) is the same i.e. Rs 73,950. Whereas the salary of the head of any constitutional body has been fixed at Rs 70,180. All the amount mentioned here is in Nepali rupees.

What is the situation now?
