These districts include Mumbai, Thane, Raigad, Palghar, Sindhudurg, Dhule and Ratnagiri, where there is a rain orange alert. According to the estimate of the Meteorological Department, people will have to take precautions for Monday (September 15). Light or moderate rain is expected from 16 September.
According to the report released by the Meteorological Department, there will be heavy rains in Palghar, Thane, Mumbai, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg and Dhule. During this time, the winds will run at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. After this, there is a possibility of moderate rainfall from 16 to 18 September. However, Raigad and Ratnagiri may also receive heavy rains on 16 September.
Monorail stopped again in Mumbai
Once again the rain in Maharashtra has created trouble. Since the night of Sunday (September 14), there is a heavy rains in many areas, due to which the problem of waterlogging has arisen. Roads are full in Kings Circle area of Mumbai. Not only this, Monorail stopped once again due to technical fault.
The Public Relations Officer informed that there was a malfunction in Manorel in Wadala. After this, 17 passengers were safely taken out by 7.45 am. It was told that 15-20 passengers were stuck inside the monorail due to technical fault between GTBN Mono Rail Station from Antofil bus depot. 17 passengers were transferred to another monorail.
