When Smita Thackeray was asked about Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray being one, he said, “It is a very good thing to come together as a family. But my feeling is that if this happened to Saheb, they would have been very happy. I would not have been associated with any political party, so I cannot tell what political impact would be with both brothers.”
Smita Thackeray had reached a school in Juhu for the distribution of food and essential items to the children on behalf of her liberation Foundation. Speaking during this time, he said, “Come, eradicate hunger”, I have started this campaign. I distribute food to the children of the slums. The rites of our parents are that whoever comes should feed with full stomach. Me and my two sons, the three of us are associated with the “Mukti Foundation”. I wish that every youth has a feeling of social service.
