Apollo Tires has become the new jersey sponsor of the Indian cricket team. Till a few weeks ago, the Indian team was playing wearing a jersey with ‘Dream11’, but after the online gaming bill, he had to finish the deal in the middle. BCCI has officially confirmed the deal to be final. It was told that the deal has been confirmed for Rs 579 crore, which will run for the next two and a half years. During this time, the Indian team has to play 121 bilateral matches and play in multi-teaching tournaments in 21 matches.
Apollo tires operating from Gurugram in Haryana are active in more than 100 countries of the world. He got a competition with Canva and JK Cements Company, who bid for Rs 544 crore and Rs 477 crore respectively.
BCCI will get crores for every match
The deal between Apollo Tires and BCCI has been confirmed for Rs 579 crore. Under this, Apollo Tires will pay an amount of about Rs 4.77 crore to BCCI for each match. This amount may be different for bilateral matches and ICC tournaments matches. The board set a base price of Rs 3.5 crore for bilateral matches and Rs 1.5 crore for World Cup matches.
The BCCI had sent a message to the selectors to release the squad of India A quickly, so that the jersey can be prepared in time. India A team is currently playing the first unofficial Test against Australia in Lucknow. The second test is to start from 23 September.

‘Shank Air’, run from Uttar Pradesh and Dubai -based company ‘Omniyat’ also showed interest in getting sponsorship. However, he did not make any bid.
