Sunil Gavaskar also mentioned the incident when he urged PM Modi to meet. Actually, PM Modi was about to get a photoshoot done with veteran cricketers, at the same time Sunil Gavaskar urged to hold a meeting with PM Modi. Gavaskar further told that at that time PM Modi agreed to the meeting without hesitation. After 2-3 weeks, Gavaskar received a call to fix the meeting. Gavaskar said, “Many things are going on in the minds of the Prime Minister of the country, despite this he remembered my request. I will always remember this.”
