Indian business schools have strengthened their status globally. In this ranking, three Indian institutes joined the top 100 MBA schools in the world, while three other institutions made their mark in the online MBA league table for the first time.

IIM-Bangalore retained its top position at the national level and went up one place in the global rankings to 52nd. The institution reached the 44th position in 2020 and achieved its highest ranking. The special thing is that this time IIM-Bangalore achieved the best employability score so far and ranked 29th in the world.

Which place to which place?

IIM-AHMEDABAD reached 58th in this ranking, while IIM-Calcutta stood at 64th position. IIM-Indore also improved its position and entered the 151-200 bracket, which is its best performance ever since it first came to this list in 2022. India has also increased its presence in QS Business Master’s Rankings. A total of 37 programs were listed this year, out of which 10 new admissions are also included. IIM-Bangalore (7th), IIM-AHMEDABAD (11th) and IIM-Calcutta (12th) Masters in Management include the top 15 institutions in the world, which reflects India’s growing strength in this particular field of India.

Similarly, IIM-Lucknow (30th), IIM-Kozhikode (48th) and IIM-Indore (50th) also joined the top 50. However, no entry of the country in the finance sector got a place in the top 200. Another important moment of this ranking was that this year Tapmi joined for the first time and finished 22nd in return on investment. This shows that India’s business schools are not only improving the standard of education, but are also increasing the ability of students to give benefits on career and investment.
