‘Our joke is often blown, we don’t mind’, Bombay HC’s big comment on Jolly LLB 3

Jolly LLB 3 has brought relief from the Bombay High Court for the film. The Bombay High Court has dismissed the PIL, demanding a ban on the release of the upcoming film Jolly LLB 3. The petitioner said that the film makes fun of the judiciary. But the court dismissed the petition and said that ‘Don’t worry, our joke is often mounted. This does not matter us. The film is going to release in theaters across the country on September 19.

Jolly LLB 3 has been directed by Subhash Kapoor. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, Saurabh Shukla, Amrita Rao and Huma Qureshi.

More than 2 crore views on YouTube

The trailer of this film came seven days ago and so far more than 2 crore views have been met on YouTube.

The lawyer appearing on behalf of the petitioner in the High Court in front of the bench of Chief Justice Chandrashekhar and Justice Gautam Ankhad said that this is a joke of justice.

The judges were addressed as ‘Mamu’- petitioner

The petitioner’s counsel Dipesh Siroya said that the film and the song make fun of not only the lawyers but also the judges, as one scene addresses the judges as ‘Mamu’.

Petition was also filed in Allahabad High Court

The filmmakers told the bench that a similar petition against the film was filed in the Allahabad High Court, which was rejected.

Demand to remove the song ‘Bhai Vikal Hai’

The petition filed through advocate Chandrakant Gaikwad on behalf of the Association for Edging Justice demanded a ban on the film’s release and the removal of the song ‘Bhai Vikal Hai’. It was claimed that it is derogatory for the legal profession.
