There is big news for employees who dream of working in Uttar Pradesh Police Department. The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has started the recruitment process for 176 posts of Chief Reserve (Motor Transport) in the Motor Transport Branch. Applications for this recruitment will be accepted only from those employees who are currently working in the post of constable driver or chief constable driver in UP Police.
This recruitment is only for those employees who are currently posted as drivers in various districts, units and PAC vessels. External candidates or new applicants cannot join this recruitment.
How will the selection be?
- First phase – Written test
This exam will be of a total of 70 marks. Only those candidates can sit in this exam, who are currently working as the constable driver or the chief constable driver.
- Second phase – Practical technical knowledge exam
Only those candidates will be able to join it, who will be successful in the first phase. This exam will be of 50 marks and in this, the technical understanding and driving skills of the candidates will be examined.
After completing both stages, the service records of the candidates will also be evaluated. According to the service manual, marks will be given on the basis of their tenure and experience. The final selection list will be prepared on the basis of these digits and qualifications.
When and where will the exam be done?
The written examination of UP Police Chief Reserve (Motor Transport) Recruitment 2025 will be held on 5 October 2025. The examination site Lucknow University (Old Campus), University Road, Badshahbagh, near Hanuman Setu, Lucknow – 226007 has been fixed.
How to get the admit card?
The admit cards for this recruitment examination will be released on the official website of UPPRPB uppbpb.gov.in. Candidates will be able to download them with the help of their login ID and password.
Health test necessary
At the end of the selection process, all the candidates will also be done medical test. It is mandatory to succeed in this. If a candidate fails in health testing, his candidature will be canceled.
Application process
In this recruitment, the application process will be completed through technical service circular. Since this is only departmental examination, the way to apply will also be according to the internal process. Interested candidates will have to follow the instructions given by the board.
