Neeraj Chopra could not reach the last round of the World Athletics Championship final. India’s star player ended this championship at number 8. Neeraj threw this throw in the Doha Diamond League this year, where he was second.

Sachin Yadav missed winning medal
The whole country expected Sachin Yadav of India. Sachin threw a spear of 86.27 meters in the first round itself, which became a personal best throw. With this throw, Sachin was at number four in the World Athletics Championship 2025. Sachin had to throw a distance of more than 86.67 meters to win the medal. Sachin missed only 0.40 meters by winning the medal.

Who won the World Athletics Championship 2025?
India could not win even after reaching the last round in the final of the World Athletics Championship. Pakistani athlete and Paris Olympics 2024 gold medalist Arshad Nadeem also dropped out in the first round in this final. Arshad was at number 10 in this championship.
Keshorn Walcott of Trinidad and Tobago won the gold medal at the World Athletics Championship. This athlete threw a spear of 88.16 meters in its fourth attempt. This throw won the gold medal to Walkot.
