There is no complete treatment for psoriasis so far. But it can be controlled to a great extent by changes in medicines, skin care, diet and lifestyle. In some people, this disease is lighter and is limited to only some parts, while in some it can spread throughout the body. Psoriasis patients should take anti-inflammatory diet, such as old rice, wheat, barley, moong, lentils, pigeonpea, gourd, parwal, drumstick, cucumber, lung, pomegranate, apple, papaya, light hot water, turmeric milk and herbal tea. At the same time, psoriasis patients should not eat fried things, red meat, maida and white bread, alcohol and smoking, dairy products, tomatoes, brinjals, potatoes, processed and packaged food.
Apart from this, psoriasis patients should take less stress and do yoga, do light exercise every day, as well as walk for a while after eating, complete sleep, keep the skin moisturized i.e. moisturizing, apply moisturizer, protect against sunlight and more scorching sunlight can cause damage to skin.
