There is great news for the youth who are dreaming of a job in Delhi Police. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification of Delhi Police Constable Recruitment 2025. Through this recruitment, a total of 7565 posts will be appointed as the executive, men and women. If you are 12th pass and want to make a career in the police department, then this is a golden opportunity for you.
The application process has started and application can be made by 21 October 2025. At the same time, the last date for depositing the fee is 22 October 2025. Candidates will get a chance to improve the application from 29 to 31 October 2025.
Recruitment will be done on so many posts
In this recruitment, 5069 posts for men and 2496 posts for women have been fixed. 4408 posts for male candidates, 285 posts for X-Servicemen and 376 posts for X-Serviceman (Commando) have been held. Of the total posts, 3174 are reserved for general category, 756 EWS, 1608 OBCs, 1386 SC and 641 ST category.
eligibility requirements
For the application in Delhi Police Constable Recruitment, the candidate must have 12th pass. However, 11th pass will also be valid for some posts like Bandsman, Bugler, Mounted Constable, Driver and Sons of Policemen. Male candidates must have LMV (light motor vehicle) ie motorcycle or valid driving license of car. Talking about the age limit, the age of the candidate should be between 18 and 25 years by 1 July 2025. The reserved class will be given exemption as per government rules.
Selection process
Candidates will be selected in three stages. The first phase will be a computer test at the end of computer based written examination (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Examination (PMT). There will be a total of 100 questions in the written examination and there will be 1 marks for each question. There will be 50 questions of general knowledge, 25 questions from region, 15 questions of numerical ability and 10 questions of computer knowledge. There will be negative marking of 0.25 points on the wrong answer.
Physical test rules
- Male candidates will have to complete the 1600 meter race in 6 minutes. Also 14 feet long jump. 3.9 feet high jump.
- Women candidates will have to complete the 1600 meter race in 8 minutes. Also 10 feet long jump. 3 feet high jump.
Bonus points to those with NCC certificate
- NCC C Certificate: 5% additional marks.
- NCC B Certificate: 3% additional marks.
- NCC A Certificate: 2% additional marks.

Candidates selected on these posts will get salary from Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100 under Level-3.
How much will the application fee be paid
For this recruitment, candidates will have to pay the application fee. The application fee for general and OBC male candidates is Rs 100. The application for women, SC/ST candidates and qualified ex -servicemen is free.
