Recently, there was a report of an airstrike in the Tirah Valley of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan, in which at least 30 people, including women and children, died. Viral videos on social media are showing scenes of destruction. Roads are filled with debris, vehicles are burnt and bodies are being removed from the collapsed houses. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from IIT Kharagpur and then did MTech in Thermal Energy and Environmental Engineering. He then worked as a business analyst in a real estate company called Jones Lang Lasal for almost three years.

In April 2010, he started working as a scientist in the Ministry of Renewable Energy by joining the Government of India. After two years, he passed the Indian Civil Services Examination and joined the Indian Foreign Service (IFS). After training at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Administration Academy, he started his journey in the Ministry of External Affairs and is now representing India in UNHRC.
Disclosure of bombing on his own people
Speaking under the agenda item 4 in the UNHRC session, Kshitij Tyagi said that Pakistan’s delegation misuses the platform. He clarified that these people who make baseless and inflammatory statements against India hide human rights violations happening in their country.
