The Cricket Board of India (BCCI) has officially complained to the ICC of Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf and youth opener Sahibzada Farhan. Both these players did shameful act in the name of celebrations in the match against India in Super-4. According to the report, the BCCI on Wednesday complained to these two Pakistani players and sent a mail to the ICC. Haris and Sahibzada have not considered their wrong. In such a situation, the ICC will hear this case. However, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has also complained to Indian T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav.
During the September 21 match against India, Haris Rauf had indicated to drop the aircraft by making fun of Indian military action after shouting ‘Kohli Kohli’ of Indian supporters. Haris Rauf also abused Indian openers Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill during the match, which both young cricketers responded with their brilliant batting.
In this match, Pakistan’s opener Sahibzada Farhan used the bat as a machine gun and celebrated in the style of running a gun, which was a lot of condemnation. Farhan had said after the match that the celebration was only a moment at that time. I did not celebrate after completing 50 runs and suddenly came to my mind that I celebrate today and I did the same. I do not know how people will take it and I don’t even care.
Rauf and Farhan will have to clarify these antics before the ICC and if the ICC is not satisfied then they can be punished under the code of conduct. On the other hand, Asian Cricket Council President Mohsin Naqvi has put a ‘slow motion’ video of Cristiano Ronaldo on X, in which this great footballer of Portugal is indicating the crash of the aircraft as Rauf did during the match against India.
