Tigmanshu dhulia on bollywood’s failure: Salman Khan’s Alexander has been released on 30 March. The film is earning an average at the box office. Meanwhile, film director Tigmanshu Dhulia has given the reason for the low collection of Bollywood films. He has claimed that Bollywood films have become in bad shape due to more expensive tickets.
Tigmanshu Dhulia has said this when the prices of Alexander’s tickets are reaching 2200. In some single screen theaters, the price of reclineer seats is also up to Rs 700. In a recent interview to ANI, he said- ‘Average capability of South’s cinemas is 75%, but 25% in Hindi, as there is a limit at ticket rates. You can keep the price you want here.
Flop movies on re-reliefs due to cheap tickets
Tigmanshu Dhulia further said- ‘Ticket prices are so high that who will go to see a film? Traffic is increasing in every city, so people think about leaving it. When cinema day occurs and ticket prices are reduced by Rs 100, then every theater is full. The films that went on were only because of cheap ticket prices, including Tumbad, Sanam Teri Kasam and Rockstar. These were flops when the original release was released.
Flop films due to expensive tickets
The film director further said- ‘Of course, greed is the reason behind this. They are not selling the ticket rate of the film, they are selling parking, popcorn, tacos and samosa tickets, and the movies come later. His entire money is on real estate where a special multiplex has been built. They are showing it on big TV screens, this film is not the way of screen. Go and experience it on a single screen.
