In Pakistani school books, a case of giving incorrect information about Operation Sindoor has come up. On May 7, 2025, Pakistan has included false things instead of factual information in its school Karikulam regarding Operation Sindoor run by the Indian Army. Pictures of these books are going viral on social media, in which it is said that Pakistan defeated India in just four days.
According to reports, it has also been written in the books that India forcibly accused Pakistan of the Pahalgam attack and in response, Pakistan brought India to knees. At the same time, reality is completely different from this. According to the Indian Army and independent reports, Operation Sindoor was a controlled and strategic campaign, in which India targeted terrorists and their bases, not civil areas.

In the books, a separate story has been introduced from the Pakistan-India War of 2025 title. It claimed that the Pakistan Army retaliated only on Indian military bases. Whereas the truth is that the Pakistani Army carried out drone and missile attacks at Amritsar, Jammu, Srinagar and many other places, including civilian areas.

In response, the Indian Army took accurate and controlled action. Pakistan’s HQ-9 air defense system was targeted in Lahore during Operation Sindoor, as well as military bases in Sialkot and Islamabad. The purpose of these actions was to weaken Pakistan’s terrorist network, not to harm the general public.
Donald Trump’s roll
The books also claimed that India suffered heavy losses and eventually Pakistan established peace under pressure from the then US President Donald Trump. Whereas the reality is that India made a target attacks of operations and did not harm any citizen, the Indian Army made a press conference on May 12 to make satellite photos and videos public.
The Indian Army’s action during Operation Sindoor was completely strategic. Its objective was to destroy terrorist bases in Pakistan and PoK and ensure security of India’s borders. Apart from this, after the operation, the Indian Army showed the truth of the operation to the whole world through journalists and media.
