Tej pratap yadav new political party: Lalu Prasad Yadav’s elder son and former RJD leader Tej Pratap Yadav has made a new bet in Bihar politics. He has announced his separate party and announced to enter the assembly election battle. This new party has been named ‘Janashakti Janata Dal’ and its election symbol Black Board has been fixed. Tej Pratap has shared a glimpse of this on his official X account. Let us know how many rupees a new political party is formed and at least how many workers are necessary in it.

Election Commission approval is necessary

In a democratic country like India, any citizen or group can form a new political party to spread their political thinking and ideology to the public, but it requires a well -organized legal process and approval of the Election Commission. According to the rules of the Election Commission, to form a new party, the Commission has to first send a formal application. It is necessary to file this application within 30 days from the date of party formation.

How many rupees do you take?

Here it is necessary to deposit a demand draft of Rs 10,000 along with the application, which is accepted as registration fees. This amount was Rs 5,000 before 2014, which has been increased later. It is not enough to fill the money for registration. Along with the application, the party’s constitution, headquarters address, list of office bearers like president, general secretary, treasurer and members also have to be given details. According to the rules, a list of at least 100 primary members is submitted to the Election Commission to form a new party. The names, addresses and affidavits of these members are also necessary to attach.

Information has to be given in local newspapers

Apart from this, in order to maintain transparency in party registration process, the Election Commission applicant tells the party that it has to be published in at least two national and two local newspapers. Through this publication, the public or any other political party is given an opportunity to express objections. If no objection is registered or the commission considers those objections to be baseless, then the registration certificate is issued to the new party.

How many workers are necessary

It is important to keep in mind here that registration and recognition are two different things. After registration, the party gets the right to contest elections, but it has to fulfill some additional conditions to get the status of national or state level party, such as achieving at least 6% of the total votes in a state in a state or winning a certain number of seats is necessary to become a recognized party.

How much does it cost?

Talking about the expenses, apart from the registration fee of Rs 10,000, there is a notary of documents on party formation, preparation of affidavits, printing notices in newspapers and legal advice. This expense can reach a few thousand rupees to several lakh rupees on the basis of the party’s preparation and scale.
