Bcci stand on asia cup final 2025: The final match between India and Pakistan will be played on Sunday, 28 September. If Team India wins in today’s final match, then the chairperson of the Asian Cricket Council Mohsin Naqvi will give the trophy to the winning team. But the chairperson of ACC is none other than Mohsin Naqvi, president of Pakistan Cricket Board. India will also get the winning trophy in this tournament from the hands of this person. But Team India has not joined hands with any Pakistani in the Asia Cup. In such a situation, the question is arising whether Team India will take the trophy from Mohsin Naqvi’s hand or not.
BCCI’s stand on India-Pakistan match
In the match played in the league stage of Asia Cup 2025, Team India did not join hands with Pakistani players after winning the match. At the same time, it was revealed that the players followed the decision of the government and the Board of Control for Cricket in India. Some statements of PCB President Mohsin Naqvi have also been against India. Even after not joining the hand of Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav in the league stage match, Naqvi composed the ICC and he wanted Suryakumar to be punished and removed from the Asia Cup final.
According to media reports, the BCCI can give strict messages to the players in view of such statement of the ACC president, due to which Team India can withdraw from taking the trophy from ACC chairperson. But so far no official statement has been revealed by the BCCI. Mohsin Naqvi is going to be present as the chairperson of ACC more than the President of PCB in this match, but all his things have been against India so far.
