Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has started another new drama. On the complaint of PCB, ICC imposed a 30 percent fine of match fees on Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav. Now Pakistan’s target is fast bowler Arshdeep Singh, who has been accused that he made obscene gestures during the Indo-Pakistan match in the Super-4 round.
According to Pakistani media agency Geo News, the PCB argued that Arshdeep Singh’s gestures are against the ICC code of conduct. It was also said that the sportsmanship was hurt due to the antics of the Indian fast bowler. The Pakistan Board has demanded that strict action should be taken against Arshdeep. It is being told that the incident took place on September 21 after the end of India vs Pakistan match, in which Team India was victorious by 6 wickets.
Earlier, PCB had complained about Suryakumar Yadav’s statement that he had given after winning a group-stage match against Pakistan. Suryakumar Yadav had described himself as innocent, but ICC’s match referee Richie Richardson found him guilty and fined him 30 percent of the match fee.
On the other hand, BCCI also complained to the ICC of Pakistani players Haris Rauf and Sahibzada Farhan. Haris Rauf was fined 30 percent of the match fees for a gesture that caused fighter jet. At the same time, Sahibzada Farhan, who celebrated the gun, was left with warning.
Pakistan is not desisting from its dirty antics. According to a recent report, PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi had offered to fill the fine on Haris Rauf with his pocket. Which clearly shows that Naqvi is fully supporting the antics of her players.
