There was a big development in Bihar politics on Tuesday (September 30), when Bhojpuri star and BJP leader Pawan Singh met Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) chief Upendra Kushwaha. This meeting is being seen as an attempt to end the mental mind between the two leaders. BJP is believing that if the heart work between these two leaders is done, then its direct benefit will be seen in the upcoming assembly elections.
BJP’s national organization General Secretary Vinod Tawde met Pawan Singh and Upendra Kushwaha. After the meeting, Vinod Tawde said that Pawan Singh will now work strongly as a party worker.
Upendra Kushwaha lost the election due to Pawan Singh
Political analysts believe that the synergy between Pawan Singh and Upendra Kushwaha is very important for the BJP as Upendra Kushwaha had to suffer a big loss due to Pawan Singh in Karakat seat in the last Lok Sabha election. Upendra Kushwaha not only lost elections, but Kushwaha was third in that election.
Even in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the seats that BJP and NDA lost, including the seats coming from the area of Magadha Shahabad, were considered to be a conflict between Rajput and Kushwaha Samaj. BJP/ NDA suffered losses due to the votes of both societies coming face to face in this region.
Focus on Rajput and Kushwaha voters
Not only this, even in the 2020 assembly elections, the situation of BJP was not very strong in these areas. Out of a total of 48 seats, the party won only 20-25 percent seats. Experts say that if Pawan Singh and Upendra Kushwaha come together, this time the distance between Rajput and Kushwaha voters may be reduced, which will give election benefit to BJP/NDA.
Overall, this meeting of Pawan Singh and Upendra Kushwaha is considered an important part of the strategy of BJP/ NDA, which can strengthen the political land of the party in the upcoming assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
