Amid the celebration of Navratri across India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also came to seek blessings from mother Bhagwati on the occasion of Durgashtami. Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Chittaranjan Park in Delhi on the occasion of Mahashtami on Tuesday (September 30, 2025) and also attended the festival of Durga Puja held there.

On the occasion of Durga Ashtami, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was seen wearing traditional dress dhoti and kurta. In traditional costumes, PM Modi worshiped the huge statue of Maa Durga installed in Chittaranjan Park and performed the aarti of Jagat Janani Maa Bhagwati amidst Vedic chanting.

Mother prayed to Bhagwati for the happiness and skill of everyone.

Chittaranjan Park has been in a lot of controversy
