A major human rights organization of Pakistan said on Tuesday (30 September 2025) that at least four Baloch citizens have been forcibly disappeared by the Pakistani Army in Balochistan, as the cycle of harassment continues amid a growing wave of forced disappearance across the province.
The Human Rights Department of Baloch National Movement, Pank said that on September 27, Pakistani security forces kidnapped two residents of Gilli Buleda in Katch district. A daily wage laborer, Murad Jaan was forcibly disappeared while going to his farm, while Abdul Hakim was abducted from his house in the same area. The human rights institution said that two days later, on 29 September, Sher Ali, a shopkeeper of Gardanka in Buleda tehsil of Katch district, was also forcibly disappeared by the Pakistani Army.
Arj Muhammad missing from Buleda
On Tuesday, a driver engaged in cross -border trade and Nizar Arj Muhammad, a resident of Parum in Panjgur district, was forcibly disappeared from Buleda by Pakistani security forces, and his hideout is unknown. Pank said, “These constant kidnappings highlight the ongoing trend of forcibly disappearing in Balochistan, targeting citizens without any appropriate procedure or accountability.”
Death squad fired bullets
Highlighting the atrocities on Baloch citizens, Pank said that on Monday, members of the Pakistan -backed Death Squad opened fire in Jhain area of Panjgur, in which two local residents were injured. Citing local sources, the human rights institution reported that the attackers came in the Iran -built Toyota car and fired indiscriminately. The injured have been identified as Joseph and Ujir, whose condition remains critical.
123 aparang, 26 murders in August
Recently, the Balochistan Human Rights Council (HRCB) has documented extensive human rights violations in Balochistan, including 123 forced disappearance and 26 murders committed by Pakistan -backed Death Squad and security forces in August.
106 people missing, 12 released
In its report, HRCB explained in detail that 123 cases of forced disappearance were registered in August 2025. Of these, 106 people are missing, 12 were released and five were killed in a fair manner while detaining. The people of Balochistan are currently struggling with Pakistan for their independence.
Various human rights organizations in Balochistan have repeatedly exposed the repression being done by the Pakistani Army in the province, including violent raids on the homes of Baloch leaders and citizens, illegal arrests, disappearance, forcibly disappearing, ‘kill and throw do’ policy, the ordinance for maintaining the public system and registering police cases.
