The important meeting of the Nitish Sarkar cabinet concluded before the election model code of conduct in Bihar was implemented. A total of 129 proposals have been approved in the meeting of the Council of Ministers under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister. This meeting of the cabinet is considered to be the last meeting of the election.
Dearness allowance increased from 55% to 58%
Before the election, the Nitish government gave a big gift to the personnel of the state government. Dearness allowance of government employees increased by three percent. The dearness allowance of the workers to be taken under the seventh pay scale was 55% earlier, which has been increased to 58%. It will be under influence from 1 July 2025. It has been approved in the cabinet.
At the same time, for the construction of Green Field Airport in Bhagalpur, 931 tax is Rs 472 crore 72 lakh for acquiring land and a cabinet of Rs 147 crore 76 lakh 56 thousand 180 has been approved to acquire an additional 12 acres for the runway expansion of Saharsa Airport.
Mokama will become a tourist place, cabinet approval
In order to develop cultural, religious and tourist facilities in Mokama city of Patna district, the approval has also been received in the cabinet to transfer 10 acres of 11 decimis land of the Road Construction Department to the Tourism Department for free.
At the same time, 25000 will be given to Vikas Mitra working in Dalit settlements under Bihar Mahadalit Development Mission to buy tablets. Tablet will be given to 9817 Vikas Mitras of the state and an approval of Rs 24 crore 54 lakh 25 thousand has been received in the cabinet on Friday. In the court, a post for the essay, a post of District Naya Dishin Registrar and one post of Civil Judge i.e. a total of three posts have been approved in the cabinet.
Transport allowance and stationery allowance to fellow development friends, which was earlier nine hundred, has been increased to 1500. This will be given with the effect of September 2025, which has been approved for the next 7 months, 27 crore 48 lakh 76000. Overall, a total of 52 crore 3 lakh 1000 approval has been given in the cabinet to spend Vikas Mitra currently.
