Donald Trump Gaza Plan: The 20 -point blueprint presented by US President Donald Trump to end the Gaza war has been described by Pakistan as different from the draft scheme given by Muslim countries.
According to Ishaq Dar, on September 22, Muslim countries had clearly stated in a meeting with Trump that the Israeli army should be fully returned from Gaza. But Trump’s plan mentions only partial withdrawal so that the hostages present in Hamas can be released.
Ishaq Dar said this in his statement
Speaking in the Pakistani Parliament, Ishaq Dar said, “I have made it clear that the 20 points made by Trump do not match our proposal. It has been made many changes, which we had given in the draft,” according to the Reuters report.
Learn what is Trump’s plan
US President Donald Trump on Monday introduced a plan of 20 points to end the Gaza war. According to this plan, within 72 hours after the ceasefire, all the hostages (whether they are alive or dead) will have to be brought back. The plan has also mentioned that a new and developed new Gaza is also mentioned. However, many parts of the plan are still dependent on the conversation and it is completely hinged on whether Hamas believes it.
Significantly, Hamas attacked Israel on 7 October 2023, in which more than 1,200 people were killed and 251 people were taken hostage. In response, Israel waged a war in Gaza. According to Gaza health officials, more than 66,000 Palestinians have been killed in this war so far and a large part of Gaza Strip has been completely destroyed.
Eight countries have taken this promise from Trump
Pakistan’s representative Dar said that eight countries had promised US President Trump that it would not allow the West Bank to increase the occupation of Israel. It was clearly written in the shared document of Muslim countries that Israel should go out completely from Gaza and peace should be established on the basis of two nation solutions. Dar said that Pakistan’s policy is to ensure peaceful co-existence with Israel by making Palestine an independent nation. However, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has been repeatedly denying the possibility of becoming a Palestinian state.
