Sangeeta was born on 14 June 1958 in Karachi. Her real name is Sangeeta, while in the film world she got recognition in the name of Parveen Rizvi. He started his career as a child artist in the film Koh-e-Noor in 1969. The official debut was from Riyaz Shahid’s film Ye Aman in 1971. Since childhood, Sangeeta, who grew up in the film atmosphere, made her mark in all three fields.

Sangeeta’s film career has been longer than 45 years. She worked as an actress, director and producer in more than 120 films. In 1976, she directed the Society Girl, which proved to be a superhit. Sangeeta’s family background
Sangeeta’s family background was also associated with the film world. His mother Mehtab Rizvi was active in the show business. His sister Nasreen Rizvi, known in films, was a well-known actress of Pakistan. Sangeeta was also the aunt of British-American Bollywood actress Jia Khan. Jia Khan died in Mumbai in 2013. With a long and successful career, Sangeeta not only earned the name and fame but she is also known as Pakistan’s richest Hindu woman.
