US President Donald Trump ordered Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu to stop the bombing and said that Hamas is ready for peace. President Trump had presented his 20-sutriya Gaza Shanti Yojana a few days ago, warning Hamas to accept it by Sunday (5 October 2025) or suffer serious consequences. Trump claims that the scheme can open a practical route for the release of hostages and the end of war. Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social that Israel should stop bombing Gaza immediately so that we can take the hostage safe and quickly out. It is not just about Gaza. It is about the long -standing permanent peace in the Middle East. Trump has described himself as the only person capable of bringing peace in Gaza and said that he is investing political capital to end this two -year -old war.
Netanyahu’s government gave positive response
The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that the government is preparing to implement the first phase of Trump’s Gaza Yojana immediately. According to Israeli media reports, the country’s political leadership has instructed the army to reduce aggressive activities in Gaza. The Israeli military head also said that the army has been ordered to be prepared for the implementation of the first phase, although he did not clarify whether it is a step towards the ceasefire or not.
Hamas reaction ready for peace
Palestinian organization Hamas, who controls Gaza, has expressed partial consent on Trump’s plan. Hamas leaders said that they are ready to talk about the release and ceasefire of the hostages, but for this they should guarantee Gaza’s human condition to improve and remove the blockade. This reaction of Hamas has come after Trump’s ultimatum deciding till Sunday. This indicates that the diplomatic route between the two sides may open, if Israel limits its military action.
Pressure of public and hostage families tired of war
The resentment among hostage families and common citizens is increasing due to the continuation of war in Israel. The families of the hostages have appealed to the Netanyahu government to “start talks immediately for a safe return of all the hostages. On the one hand there is increasing demand for peace inside Israel, on the other hand their right -wing allies are adamant on continuing war. Political experts believe that Netanyahu can now try to reduce domestic dissatisfaction through trumps.
Things in Gaza frightening
According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, more than 66,000 people have been killed in the Israeli military attacks so far, most of which are citizens. Constant bombing has made more than half of Gaza’s population homeless, and there is a huge shortage of food and medical supply in many areas. International relief agencies say that there have been situations like famine in Gaza. Human organizations have appealed to the United Nations to immediately arrange a ceasefire and aid corridors.

The war began on 7 October 2023 when Hamas attacked Israel. In this attack 1,200 Israeli citizens were killed and 251 people were taken hostage and taken to Gaza. Israel says that 48 hostage are still in Gaza, out of which 20 are said to be alive. Since this incident, there has been a continuous war between the two sides, which has destroyed the entire Middle East.
