Whenever it comes to elections in Bihar, Lalu Yadav and Nitish Kumar come at the forefront. While Nitish Kumar is currently holding the post of CM of the state, Lalu Yadav has also been the former Chief Minister of Bihar. Education of CM Nitish Kumar
The current Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar was born on 1 March 1951 in Bakhtiyarpur. His childhood was spent in a very simple family. He completed his early education from a local school in Bakhtiyarpur. Since childhood, he was very smart in studies and was special interest in science.
Later, he enrolled in Bihar College of Engineering (now NIT Patna) and obtained a B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering in the year 1972. Nitish Kumar became active in student politics during college days. After completing the degree, he worked in Bihar State Electricity Board for some time, but soon his trend turned to politics. He entered active politics by taking inspiration from Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan’s movement in the 1970s.

Former CM Lalu Prasad Yadav’s education
Former Bihar Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) founder Lalu Prasad Yadav was born on 11 June 1948 in Phulwariya village of Gopalganj district. Lalu Prasad Yadav, who came from a poor farmer family, was full of his childhood struggles, but his tendency towards education was from childhood.
He did his early studies from the village government school and for further studies, B.N. of Patna. Enrolled in college, from where he earned a BA (graduate) degree. After this, he received the LLB degree from Patna Law College. During college days, Lalu Prasad Yadav became so active in student politics that soon he became the general secretary of Patna University Students Union and later also elected president. This student politics made him popular among the people and this proved to be his beginning of his political career.
