India UK Trade Deal: British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is on a visit to India. Especially at a time when there is concern about the economy due to American tariffs. This visit of the British PM is expected to lead to a strong trade agreement between the two countries.
Starmer addressed business leaders at an event organized in Mumbai and said that business partnership between India and Britain is very important. He also informed that this agreement between the two countries is expected to generate trade worth 25 billion 50 crore pounds. He told that this is Britain’s biggest trade mission till date.

Free trade agreement between India and Britain
The British Prime Minister said that a major trade agreement was signed with India in July, in which there were huge reductions in tariffs on textiles, whiskey and cars. A lot is being expected from Keir Starmer regarding this tour. With this agreement between India and Britain, zero tariff will be implemented with full trade value, which will directly benefit Indian traders and they will be able to sell their products easily and more profitably in the British market.

Trade agreement may open new employment opportunities
This trade agreement between the two countries is expected to increase jobs in clothes, shoes, sports goods and engineering sectors. This can provide new job opportunities to thousands of people. With this step both the countries will become stronger economically.
