Prashant has also given a chance to 6 Muslim candidates in the list of 51 candidates. He had recently mentioned Muslim voters in a podcast. Prashant Kishore had said that if the rulers are cruel then pay attention to the words of the Prophet.
Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraj Party has given tickets to six Muslim candidates in the first list. The party has nominated Mohammad Parvez Alam from Benipatti, Kishanganj district. Kochadhaman Abu Affan Farooqui from the seat and amour Afroz Alam has been made the candidate. There itself Tickets have been given to Mohammad Shahnawaz Alam from Baisi, Shamim Akhtar from Mahishi and Shoaib Khan from Darbhanga Rural.

The Commission has given this instruction at a time when the Model Code of Conduct is in force in Bihar and the notification for the first phase of elections is going to be issued on Friday. Voting will be held in two phases in Bihar on November 6 and 11 and counting of votes will take place on November 14.
