Congress has finalized names for these 13 seats in Bihar! Lottery may be held for many new faces, see possible list


After the announcement of Bihar assembly election dates, politics has intensified regarding the names of possible candidates. According to sources, a consensus has been reached in the CEC on the names of 13 possible candidates of Congress. However, the equation between Grand Alliance and NDA regarding ticket distribution remains complicated.

Sitting MLA of Congress will get ticket on these seats

According to sources, Bihar Congress President Rajesh Ram can contest elections from Kutumba Assembly seat. Legislature party leader Shakeel Ahmed Khan can contest elections from Kadwa seat. The names of Izharul Hussain from Kishanganj, Manohar Prasad Singh from Manihari, Vijendra Chaudhary from Muzaffarpur, Santosh Mishra from Karhagar, Anand Shankar Singh from Aurangabad can be finalized. All these are sitting MLAs.

Apart from this, Amita Bhushan can contest from Begusarai assembly seat, Garib Das from Bachhwada, Amit Kumar Tunna from Riga, BK Ravi from Rosra, Satish Kumar from Warisaliganj, Mangal Ram from Chenari. We have decided our candidates for all the assembly constituencies. In the times to come, everyone will see the struggle of the India alliance. The seats will be announced very soon.”

Will work together with India alliance: Rajesh Ram

Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly, Tejashwi Yadav said that if his party forms the government, one member of every family in Bihar will be given a government job. He has also talked about bringing a law for this. On this, Bihar Congress President Rajesh Ram said, “India coalition government will be formed in Bihar. There are about 4,00,000 posts vacant in 55 departments. We will work together with India coalition to fill these posts.”

Bihar’s ruling NDA opposition India alliance held long talks on Thursday (September 9, 2025) with its allies to resolve differences over seat sharing in the upcoming elections in the state. The parties involved in both the alliances are demanding more seats.
