A case of violation of code of conduct has been registered against Madhepura MP Pappu Yadav amid the atmosphere of Bihar Assembly elections 2025. It is alleged that he distributed money to voters during the election campaign, which violated the election code of conduct.
This case is of Desari police station area of Vaishali district. After the local people complained about this, the police have registered an FIR against MP Pappu Yadav in Desari police station.
This entire incident has been confirmed by Mehnar Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Neeraj Kumar. He said that after receiving information about the matter, investigation has been handed over to the Circle Officer (CO) of Sahadei Elderly and instructions have been issued for appropriate legal action. It is being told that despite the implementation of the Election Code of Conduct, Pappu Yadav had attended a public program, where he was accused of distributing cash among the people. As soon as the video of the incident went viral on social media, the administration swung into action and an immediate investigation was started.
