For this, ChatGPT maker OpenAI has partnered with National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) and fintech company Razorpay. This is the first attempt to integrate real-time payment network with an AI chatbot in India. With its help, users will be able to do all their shopping through the chat interface itself. The facility has just started as a pilot
This partnership was announced on October 9 and has just been launched as a pilot. During this, OpenAI will test how AI agents can conduct transactions in a secure, fast and user controlled manner. Currently it is in the testing phase and if the trial is successful then it can be implemented on a large scale. Currently, only selected users are able to use it on a few platforms.
You can make payment through ChatGPT on BigBasket
Tata Group’s e-commerce platform BigBasket is one of the first services which is allowing users to make payments through ChatGPT. Axis Bank and Airtel Payments Bank are associated as banking partners in this pilot.

UPI is the most popular method of digital payment in India and more than 20 billion transactions take place every month. About 80 percent of online transactions are done through UPI. Let us tell you that recently NPCI has started a new system, after which PIN will no longer be required for UPI payment. Users will also be able to make payment through fingerprint or Face ID.
