The preliminary examination of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPCS) is going to be held on 12 October 2025. Lakhs of candidates appear in this examination and a large number of candidates from Delhi-NCR region leave for Meerut. Delhi Metro and NCRTC have taken special steps to facilitate this important examination.
In view of the examination to be held on Sunday, the timing of Namo Bharat (NCRTC) services operating between New Ashok Nagar and Meerut South has been changed. Normally these services used to start from 8 am, but now they will start from 6 am. The purpose of this change is to ensure that all candidates can reach their examination centers on time.
Apart from this, services will be operated till 10 pm. This facility will not only be helpful for students returning after completion of examinations, but will also provide additional options to common travelers. Officials said that this step has been taken keeping in mind both the success of the examination and the convenience of the passengers. A large number of candidates from Delhi and NCR as well as other areas participate in the UPPCS exam. In such a situation, DMRC and NCRTC have jointly made this arrangement, so that all the candidates can reach their centers on time without any traffic hindrance.

Officials have advised all passengers to keep checking for new updates through the official app or website. This new timetable will not only benefit the candidates, but will also give the common commuters an opportunity to travel with less crowd in the morning.
This step of Delhi Metro and NCRTC is a relief news for UPPCS candidates. Officials said that with this change in the timetable the examination environment will remain calm and orderly. Passengers have been appealed to leave early in the morning on the day of examination and travel as per the scheduled time table. In this way, candidates and other passengers going towards Meerut on October 12 will be able to take advantage of Metro and NCRTC services starting from 6 am. The services running till evening will also simplify the process of return of candidates.
