There is great news for the youth who dream of making a career in the sports world. Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has issued notification for recruitment to the post of Sports Trainer. Under this recruitment, applications have been invited for a total of 379 posts. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the posts of Sports Trainer must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. Along with this, candidates should also have Diploma or Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Stream.
Candidates who have represented India in any international competition or have represented their state in any national or state level championship will be given preference in the application. Practical experience in sports is considered important for this post.
age limit
The minimum age of candidates to apply has been fixed at 21 years. At the same time, the maximum age limit for general category candidates has been kept at 37 years, for OBC and general category female candidates, 40 years, and for SC/ST candidates the maximum age has been kept at 42 years. According to government rules, age relaxation will also be given to reserved categories.

Bihar Staff Selection Commission has announced a total of 379 posts. These include 152 posts for general category, 61 posts for SC category, 4 posts for ST category, 68 posts for extremely backward class, 45 posts for backward class, 11 posts for backward class women, and 38 posts for economically weaker section. Through these posts, the Bihar government is taking a big step towards the development of sports and training of players in the state.
selection process
Candidates will be selected for the posts of Sports Trainer through written examination and interview. The written examination will be of total 150 marks, in which questions based on topics related to general knowledge and sports will be asked. Candidates successful in the written examination will be called for interview, which will be of 50 marks. The final selection list will be prepared on the basis of performance in both the examinations.
