Seats have been divided in NDA regarding Bihar Assembly elections. According to this, both BJP and JDU will contest elections on 101-101 seats. Now the first reaction of Nitish Kumar’s party regarding this seat sharing has come to light.
Senior JDU leader KC Tyagi said on the distribution of seats, “Not elder brothers, now we have become twin brothers. We are satisfied, no negative comments today. No matter how many seats we get in Bihar, the Chief Minister and face will be Nitish Kumar.”
He further said, “It has happened many times that even though BJP has more MLAs, the CM remains Nitish Kumar. Be it more or less seats, only Nitish Kumar is on the driving seat. Paswan, Manjhi, Kushwaha ji, these people are ours only. Our DNA is the same. They have emerged from Janata Dal only.”
Partition happened with the consent of all five parties – JDU
JDU spokesperson Anjum Ara said that everyone is respected in NDA and we work in harmony. All our five parties are going to the election field with mutual consent and the main objective is to win the elections and respect their constituent parties.
He further said that in the seat distribution this time, everyone has been given respect. And it is not that we have been given less seats, BJP and JDU are contesting elections on equal number of seats. But those who are taunting should see for themselves how things are going on. Their seat sharing has not been finalized yet and everyone is fighting for one seat each. They should stop worrying about NDA.
Nitish Kumar has been CM since 2005.
Let us tell you that Nitish Kumar has been the Chief Minister continuously since 2005. When elections were held in November 2005, JDU contested 139 seats and won 88 seats, while BJP contested 102 seats and won 55 seats. In 2010, JDU had contested elections on 141 seats and won 115 seats, while BJP had contested elections on 102 seats and won 91 seats.
In 2015, Nitish Kumar was with the Grand Alliance, at that time RJD and JDU were contesting on equal number of seats. But in 2020, he again joined NDA with BJP and JDU contested on 115 seats and won 43 seats, while BJP contested on 110 seats and won 74 seats. If it is said that every time JDU was playing the role of elder brother.
