The first meeting of the Gaza Peace Summit will be held in Egypt on Monday (October 13, 2025). US President Trump and Egypt’s Abdel Fatah al-Sisi will preside over it. Now we have to ensure lasting peace and a secure future in the entire region. The UK is providing additional humanitarian assistance to civilians in Gaza and we will lead efforts to accelerate its reconstruction.
Israel will release 2000 prisoners from Palestine
The US President has visited Israel before attending this meeting held in Egypt. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu welcomed the US President. However, this visit of the US President is of 4 hours. On the other hand, the latest update in the hostage release case is that in the first phase, 7 Israeli hostages were handed over by Hamas to the Israeli authorities at the Red Cross.
At the same time, information has been given on the ‘X’ account of the Israeli War Room that the remaining 13 surviving hostages have also been handed over by Hamas to the Red Cross to the Israeli authorities. Under Trump’s ceasefire plan, about 2000 prisoners from Palestine are to be released by Israel.

Our beloved son has returned to us after two years and we are very proud of him. We respect his courage. We can’t help but hug him and we are planning his return with him.
