Chunky’s connection with Shahrukh Khan’s debut
Chunky told that he also has a connection with Shahrukh Khan’s debut. Chunky said, ‘No one in our entire family has ever become an actor. Yes, my uncle, my maternal uncle used to do character roles. His name was Col. Raj Kapoor. He had made Fauji serial with Shahrukh Khan.
Chunky told that his parents were doctors. He had professional relations with the film industry. Chunky said, ‘I am the son of two doctors. My father was a heart surgeon. My mother was also a doctor. She knew the entire film industry. I was the medical expert of Bollywood actors.
After this Govinda also reacted. He told that dance has been a big part of his identity as an actor. Govinda said that Saroj Khan is behind his training. Govinda said, ‘So Kamal Master gave me my own style. He told me to dance without talking. So whatever words he used to say, the song is danced according to the lyrics. It started with Kamal Master ji.
Govinda further said that because of his dance, he got the opportunity to perform with iconic singer Samantha Fox.
Govinda did the film without taking fees
Govinda also told that once he did a film for bananas and coconuts. Govinda said that Subir Mukherjee’s mother had once helped his mother. After many years, he got a chance to repay that loan and do a film with Subir. He did not take money for this. Govinda had taken only a dozen bananas and coconut as fees.
