According to media reports, House Technology and Innovation Committee head Thaddeus Claggett presented a bill to the Ohio State Legislature last month. In this, a demand has been made to ban marriage between AI and humans. This bill is currently being considered. The bill also talks about looking into issues related to any possible conflicts that may arise between AI and humans in the future. Claggett, who introduced the bill, said that now there is a need to clarify the boundary. If this is not done then a day will come when these chatbots will gain authority like human partners. Giving an example, he said what would happen if one day a chatbot takes over the financial control of a person. Claggett said this is very scary and he is calling for legislation to stop this from happening.
People feeling attracted by AI chatbot
According to various reports, many people have said that they feel a deep emotional connection with AI chatbots and in many cases these chatbots are more sensitive than their human partners. It is worth noting that in the recent past, many such cases have come to light, where people have become more dependent on chatbots than humans.
