The election atmosphere in Bihar is completely heated. Both NDA and Grand Alliance have announced seat distribution and candidates. The process of nomination is going on and the leaders are busy seeking votes among the public, but this time the biggest question is, if NDA wins, will Nitish Kumar become the Chief Minister?
Even though NDA has entered the election field under the leadership of Nitish Kumar, uncertainty about his becoming the Chief Minister is continuously increasing. This suspense has been deepened by the statements of two big leaders, Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. Both the leaders clearly said that after the elections, the legislative party will decide who will become the Chief Minister, due to which the discussions have intensified in the political circles.
What did Nitin Gadkari say?
In a program on a private TV channel, Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari said, “NDA government will definitely be formed in Bihar, but it is yet to be decided who will become the Chief Minister.” This decision will be taken together by the high command of NDA, BJP and JDU after the elections.” Gadkari further said, “I alone cannot take this decision. “Such decisions are taken by the parliamentary board of the party.”
Amit Shah also changed his stance
In another private program organized in Patna, when Home Minister Amit Shah was asked about Nitish Kumar becoming the CM, he said, “Who am I to make anyone the Chief Minister?” There are so many parties. After the elections, the legislative party will sit and choose its leader.” However, Shah also added that right now we are contesting the elections under the leadership of Nitish Kumar and he is our election face.
