Suicide attack on Pakistani Army camp failed, 4 terrorists killed


Pakistani security forces on Friday (October 17, 2025) foiled a suicide attack on their camp in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Officials said that during this period four terrorists including the suicide bomber were killed.

According to security officials, militants attempted to target a security forces camp in Mir Ali area of ​​North Waziristan district when a suicide bomber rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into the boundary wall, causing a powerful explosion.

He said that three other terrorists who were trying to attack the camp were killed by the security personnel before they could enter. He said that no soldier was injured in this incident. Officials confirmed that all four terrorists, including the suicide bomber, were killed in the operation.

According to officials, in a similar incident in Bajaur district, security forces foiled a major terrorist attempt by destroying a vehicle laden with explosives through firing. There is no news of any casualty in this incident either. According to security officials, the security forces took immediate action on the basis of prior confidential information. In another such incident, security personnel destroyed a vehicle laden with explosives before it could reach the police station building in Bannu district.

88 terrorists killed in 2 days
After the explosion, sounds of heavy firing were heard in the area. District Police Officer Salim Abbas Kulachi said that a large number of police forces have been sent to the incident site. Security officials also said that 88 terrorists, who were allegedly supported by the Afghan Taliban, have been killed in operations conducted across the region in the last two days.

The Pakistani Army said in a statement on Thursday that 34 terrorists of the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were killed in several operations based on confidential information in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province between Monday and Wednesday. He told that these operations were conducted in North Waziristan, South Waziristan and Bannu districts.
