Night terrors and mental stress
According to local reports, such sounds have been heard on the border of Thailand and Cambodia. These sounds include the pitiful sounds of wandering souls, wailing screams and sometimes the roar of aircraft engines, which echo throughout the night. Children do not sleep, the blood pressure of the elderly increases and even the soldiers deployed on the border get disturbed by these sounds.
Human Rights Commission’s warning
Cambodia’s former Prime Minister and current Senate President Hun Sen wrote on Facebook that this is not an ordinary prank, but a violation of human rights and psychological warfare. He shared a letter dated October 11, which was sent by the Cambodian Human Rights Commission to the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Turk. It said that Thai soldiers spreading ghostly sounds in the border areas are creating fear, anxiety and mental stress among the citizens.
How do ghostly voices come about?
Local people and soldiers claim that these sounds come from some recording. Sometimes it sounds human, as if someone is asking for help, and then suddenly a tinkling sound like iron echoes from the loudspeaker. Hearing this sound can make anyone’s heart stop.
An atmosphere of fear spread among the people
These mysterious and scary sounds emerging on the Thailand-Cambodia border have till now become a cause of fear and stress for many people. People living in the border areas are now afraid to come out of their homes at night. This case is not only part of the border dispute, but also warns of psychological warfare and human rights violations.
