Salman Khan’s classic cult film ‘Tere Naam’ still holds a special place in the hearts of fans. Recently there were reports that film maker Sajid Nadiadwala is going to make a sequel to Tere Naam. But now the film maker has put brakes on these rumours. Sajid has said that ‘Tere Naam’ is a timeless saga, hence teasing it would not be right according to him.
According to the report of Bollywood Hungama, Sajid Nadiadwala has made it clear that he has nothing to do with ‘Tere Naam 2’. The report reads- ‘Sajid believes in making his own franchise and has no interest in buying films from any other maker. He is not making ‘Tere Naam 2’ with Salman Khan or any other actor at this time.
‘This could be Kick 2…’
It is further written in the report- ‘No sequel can be made without a script. The idea of making a second part with Sajid Nadiadwala is meaningless. Sajid had vaguely told people that his son’s launch film under the direction of Shashank Khatan is as tremendous as Tere Naam. Someone distorted his words and people announced Tere Naam 2 along with the maker. He will definitely make another film with his friend Salman Khan and there is no rift between the two. It could be Kick 2 or something else, but this collaboration has nothing to do with your name.
Sajid Nadiadwala and Salman Khan’s workfront
