‘No one can rule Kabul, Pakistan’s words are absurd…’, Afghanistan’s befitting reply to Shahbaz Sharif

Taliban Defense Minister Maulvi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid has responded to the allegations blaming India for the tension between Pakistan and Afghanistan. Pakistan’s words are absurd: Afghanistan

Yakub Mujahid said, “Afghanistan is an independent nation and it wants to maintain positive relations with both Pakistan and India. He also stressed that no one can dictate Kabul. Pakistan’s allegations are baseless and absurd. Our aim is to expand and improve relations and not to create tension.”

‘Kabul wants good relations with both India and Pakistan’

He said, “We want relations with India based on mutual respect and at the same time want to maintain good relations with Pakistan. Our relations with India are not against Pakistan nor are our relations with Pakistan at the expense of India.” Regarding the meeting held in Doha, he said, “The issue of Durand Line was not discussed by any side. No country has the right to violate the sovereignty of Afghanistan or weaken its security.”

Afghan Defense Minister’s warning to Pakistan

Maulvi Mohammad Yakub said that the next meeting on Doha Agreement between Pakistan and Afghanistan will be held in Turkey. In this meeting, the provisions applicable to the agreement will be discussed. He warned, “Afghanistan is committed to abide by all the terms of the agreement. If Pakistan backs out of its responsibilities, problems will arise. Pakistan has expressed its commitment in the presence of the two countries.”

Accusing Pakistan of violating Kabul’s airspace, he said that Afghanistan has given a decisive response to the military attacks of the other side. He claimed that Taliban’s action against Pakistan has the support of the Afghan people. He said, “If any country attacks us, our people will defend their country bravely.”
