Netanyahu sabotages Trump’s peace deal! America enraged by Israel’s occupation of West Bank, issued warning

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has warned Israel that unilaterally imposing laws in the occupied areas of the West Bank and taking over the occupied territories is a threat to the peace process. The warning came as Israel’s parliament passed a resolution imposing its law on the West Bank, a controversial move considered by the Palestinians to be a proposed future state territory.

America warned
Marco Rubio said, ‘Efforts to annex the West Bank are a potential threat to the peace agreement. Israel is a democratic country, it can take its vote and position, but at the present time this step can give adverse results. Washington has repeatedly warned that any unilateral annexation of the West Bank would be considered crossing the ‘red line’. President Donald Trump had clearly said in September, ‘I will not allow Israel to occupy the West Bank. This won’t happen.’

How is the situation in the West Bank?
Israel captured the West Bank from Jordan during the 1967 Six-Day War and has maintained military control over the area ever since. Although successive governments have avoided formal annexation, they have expanded settlements and declared large tracts of land ‘state land’, blocking Palestinian ownership and development.

Following the Hamas attack in October 2023 and Israel’s military action in Gaza, Israel’s right-wing government accelerated settlement approvals in the West Bank. Israeli settlement attacks also increased during the same period. According to UN data, more than 1,000 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces or settlements in the West Bank since October 2023. There were 757 recorded attacks in the first half of 2025 alone, which is 13% more than the previous year.

Rubio said such steps could jeopardize delicate regional diplomacy. He reiterated that President Trump has made it clear that America cannot support such steps at this time.
