Gujarat’s biggest blockbuster ‘Laalo’ has now been released in Hindi as well, and it has to be said that this film is truly a once-in-a-lifetime cinematic experience.
I first saw it in Gujarati, and now after seeing it in Hindi too, I felt the same effect—the story seems equally powerful in both the languages.
Laalo is not just a movie, it asks big questions: Do Gods exist? And if so, why do they wait so long to get into trouble?
The story of the film revolves around the life of an ordinary auto driver who suddenly gets stuck at a turn. What happens to him is the soul of the film.
The budget of the film was only 25 lakhs, but the Gujarati version did a business of more than 100 crores, which is an example in itself.
Hindi dubbing has also been done by the original actress herself, which makes the emotion feel even more authentic.
Reeva Rachh, Shruhad Goswami, and Karan Joshi have breathed life into their characters.
Whereas Ankit Sakhiya’s direction gives a special identity to the film.
If you want to see excellence in story, acting and direction, then ‘Laalo’ is definitely worth watching.
