Earlier the honorarium of the sevika was 7000 and the honorarium of the assistant was 4000. The Social Welfare Department has received approval to spend 345 crore 19 lakh 20 thousand additional per year for this. The increased honorarium will be effective from 1 October 2025. At the same time, under the Chief Minister Kanya Vivah Mandap Yojana, an approval of 50 crore has been received in the cabinet to construct the marriage pavilion in 8053 gram panchayats of the state.

Under the Revenue and Land Reforms Department, the creation of 3303 additional posts of Revenue Employees in the Regional Office was approved and the government will have an additional burden of Rs 121 crore 74 lakh 21,368 crores per year. Its approval has been found in the cabinet. The revenue and land reform department had decided to increase the number of employees for execution of quick works and the government considered it appropriate and it has been approved in the cabinet today.

Travel allowance of state government employees will increase

At the same time, under the Chief Minister’s Rural Solar Street Light Scheme, one billion for the financial year 2025-26 for installing solar lights in many blocks of the state has been approved in the cabinet on Tuesday. The travel allowance of the government personnel of the state will be increased. Currently, approval has also been received to amend the current travel rate and the estimate of the journey.

LPG gas -based crematorium will be established in six cities of the state Patna, Gaya, Chapra, Saharsa, Bhagalpur and Begusarai. Its establishment and operations have been given to Isha Foundation Coimbatore. The state government will issue land with a token amount of one rupee to Isha Foundation Coimbatore to build a crematorium in these cities. There will be 33 years of lease for this. Its approval has been received in the cabinet today.
