Preparations for the upcoming elections in Bihar have intensified. The Election Commission is continuously working towards updating the voter list and adding more and more people to the voter list. In this episode, a very important decision has come under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2025 which has brought relief for millions of people. Till now, a few selected documents were valid to add names to the voter list, but after the recent order of the Supreme Court, the Aadhaar card has also been included in the valid identity cards.

This is a big change because almost every citizen in the country has an Aadhaar card and its access is from village to city. With this, the process of becoming voters has become easier now. However, it has also been made clear that the Aadhaar card will be considered only as an identity proof, not as a civilian proof i.e. having an Aadhaar card, it will not be believed that you are a citizen of India, but it will be enough for your identity. In such a situation, let us know which 12 documents are, by giving one of which you can get your name added to the voter list.
